First Visit

When you arrive for your first visit to our office in South Windsor, CT, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your dental treatment. We will ask you to fill out several forms that will get you acquainted with our Implant and Family Dentistry office.

Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. Your first appointment will allow you to get acquainted with us, our goals and beliefs. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth. Our implant and family dentist, Dr. Robert Burstein, will provide an evaluation that will outline your existing dental problems and proposed treatment.

The initial evaluation consists of taking intra-oral films and a full mouth X-ray. Tthe doctor performs a complete oral examination. We then form a customized treatment plan, so you are aware of the treatment that is best suited for you. From here we know exactly how much time you need with our hygienist for treatment, whether it be a general cleaning or periodontal treatment. Therefore, we can give you the very best in care and quality.
