About Dr. Macken

Dr. Katie Macken completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Towson University in 2004. Throughout high school and college she worked part time as a dental assistant which; combined with a desire to help others and use her creativity led her to pursue a career in dentistry. In 2009, Dr. Macken graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery- the oldest Dental School in the world! To further her dental education and experience, Dr. Macken completed a general practice residency at Danbury Hospital.

Dr . Macken is very passionate about patient care and education. She looks forward to customizing a treatment plan to reflect your individual needs.

In her free time, Dr. Macken enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, painting, and spending time with friends and family.
